Most superhero stories roll everything up to the Present Day unless something is really tied in with a historical event (usually World War II), but the Doom Patrol are all from decades ago, and a little frozen in time by their accidents. From the 1860s to the early 1900s, the first permanent State Fair site in Sacramento was a combination of the Grand Pavilion in Capitol Park (where the rose garden is now), which itself replaced an earlier building at 6th & M, and the Union Park Racetrack at 20th & H Street (now Boulevard Park.) After 1870, the fairgrounds were reachable for visitors arriving in Sacramento via mule-drawn streetcars from the Central Pacific depot on Front Street (now the reconstructed arcade depot in Old Sacramento) that ran to 15th & M Street and 20th & H Street the streetcar line was also convenient for the old waterfront docks at Front & K Street (where the Delta King sits now, although the King and Queen actually tied up just south of the Tower Bridge.) Knees should be slightly under the piano keyboard. Adjust the bench so that your forearms are parallel with the floor. Elbows should be bent and slightly higher than the keys. The bench should be positioned so that your hands are resting over the keys. Let your arms hang loosely from your shoulders. Position yourself at the center of the piano. You shouldn’t have too much thigh on the bench. Position yourself forward on the piano bench toward the piano but make sure you’re comfortable. However, if the next chord I was about to play were these notes C-F-A (that’s called an F Major chord 2nd inversion, which isn’t important right now) I’d probably use my 1-2-4 fingers on the C-E-G notes, that way my 3rd finger is right over the F and my 5th finger is right over the A, making it easier to move to that chord.įYI when you become a Piano Genius member, there are really helpful Modules on chord inversions, and focusing on fingering when anticipating changing to different chords.
